Passing time

Not much to report from the sandbox as of late, and thats mostly good, right? Oh, there is that news that we are seven weeks pregnant!!!! No pictures to share on that end, yet, unless you want to see me sitting around complaining about how crappy I feel. I will spare us all that visual.

Adam is hard at work, in fact we found out recently that he is in the TOP 1/3 of his class! I am slaving away for COHI, labor of love that it is, and trying to enjoy food these days. A challenge to be sure.

Just thought I'd post some pictures so you can SEE for yourselves what it is we do to keep ourselves busy during the winter here in B'7. Not much, giggle giggle. That said, enjoy, and we hope to have more adventures to report soon, when the sun shines again with compulsive regularity, hallelujah!

Here is Adam working hard on a puzzle that was a gift from some friends of ours in NY state. Its a 1000 piece Tibetan Mandala. I though, cool, this should take all winter, right? Something for us to do nights. WRONG....

Completed, three days in total. The man is MAD for games, I tell you. Who knew????

Here is a meeting in our back yard of the production committee for the Ensler play we are doing here to raise awareness, and hopefully a bit of money, about violence against women. Yes, it was cold. But colder yet in our frigid house!

Architecture in this town of ours is just straight up freaky. I mean look at this building. Its just a building on the main plaza, nothing special. But with some really strange and surreal, I dare say post-modern and I would if I knew what that means, design. Just adds to the far away feeling I get living here sometimes. Really, the set of star wars is what this place looks like most days. Minus the extra moons and suns.

This winter has been very short on the much needed rain that the Negev requires to survive. Here you can see Adam contributing to the water shortage as he tries to raise the grass seeds he planted from the dusty earth. Good luck, there buddy.

Don't ask. I think it was a day after an exam, the beer started flowing at like noon and this is at like 10 pm. We are pretty hard up for entertainment here, so we have to make our own.

Sera at a meeting in Ramallah with some of the Palestinian midwives, they are such wonderful women. Such a blessing to know and work with them.

Adam giving a presentation of something having to do with....um, the heart, I think? Either way, did I mention that he is in the top 1/3 of his class? So proud!
